Compulsory Common Foreign Language (English I-II) and Basic Information Technologies Course Exemption Exam
2025-2026 Academic Year Exemption Exam
Exam Date: Thursday, September 25
Exam Time: 2:00 PM
Exam Venue: Each student will take the exam in their own department.
Exam Method: Face-to-face
The Exemption Exam will be administered for students enrolled in our university's faculties and vocational schools for the "Foreign Language (English I-II)" and "Basic Information Technologies" courses. Applications for students wishing to take the Exemption Exam will begin on September 22, 2025. Students can submit their applications to their departments by 5:00 PM on September 23, 2025.
NOTE:
1. The Exemption Exam will be administered in a single session; each course will be 30 minutes long, for a total of 60 minutes. Students are prohibited from leaving the exam room during the first 30 minutes of the exam. Participation in the exam is not mandatory; students who pass will be exempt from the aforementioned courses if they pass. (Students may take the exemption exam for both courses if they wish.)
2. Each student will take the exam in their own faculty or vocational school.
Who is Eligible to Apply for the Exam?
1. Students who previously suspended their registration and will begin their first year of study this year are eligible to apply.
2. First-year students who registered for our university's undergraduate and associate degree programs through the 2025 YKS exam, and first-year students who passed the Arabic Preparatory Class of the Faculty of Theology, the English Preparatory Class of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and the English Preparatory Class of International Relations, admitted in 2024, are eligible to apply.
Who is Not Eligible to Apply for the Exam?
1. Students in the Preparatory Class of the Faculty of Theology are not eligible to apply.
2. Students in the English Department of Political Science and Public Administration and the Preparatory Class of the English Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences are not eligible to apply for the exam.

First-year students who registered for our university's undergraduate and associate degree programs with the 2025 YKS and first-year students registering for English Programs or the Faculty of Divinities in 2024 and passing the Arabic/English Preparatory Classes of Faculty of Divinities, Deparments of Political Science and Public Administration and the Department of International Relations can apply for the exam.
Who Cannot Apply for the Exam?
1. Current Preparatory Class students of the Faculty of Divinities cannot apply for the exam.
2. Current Preparatory Class students of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration and Department of International Relations cannot apply for the exam.
